We could not have asked for a better partner in this production than Rory.  Rory accomplished every aspect of her part of the project with consummate professionalism.  Rory is an excellent musician and singer and uses her voice skillfully to achieve the desired effect.  Rory has a subtle understanding of musical style, of what the lyricist and the composer are trying to achieve and knows how to bring her own musical sensibility to create a beautiful performance. 

Rory had no trouble dealing with the digital audio aspects of this project, nor with any coordination problems arising from our never being in the same studio.  She provided us with a clear list of materials that she needed to accomplish her tasks but was unfazed when we failed to provide all of it.  She returned her materials to us in about 24 hours, much sooner than we expected.  She supplied several alternative recordings for each of her three parts to obviate the need for re-recording.  Her recordings matched perfectly to the instrumental tracks, requiring no timing adjustments.

The best musicians that I encounter have the ability to create the illusion of carefree spontaneity and fun in a performance. It’s an illusion, because a professional musical performance is the result of dedication, hard work, patience, and attention to detail that is anything but carefree and spontaneous.  Rory is such a musician.
